Our Scope of Care
At Accomplished Hope Counseling Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based outpatient telehealth psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. Our goal is to help clients improve their emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and develop healthy coping skills within the scope of outpatient mental health treatment.
Our practice provides psychotherapy only. We do not prescribe medications, provide medication management, perform psychiatric evaluations for medication purposes, or offer psychiatric services. If medication evaluation or ongoing medication management is clinically indicated, we will provide referrals to a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, your primary care provider (when appropriate), or another qualified prescribing provider. With your written authorization, we can coordinate care with your medical and psychiatric providers as part of your overall treatment plan.
As an outpatient telehealth practice, our services are intended for individuals who can safely participate in routine outpatient therapy. We do not provide emergency psychiatric services, crisis stabilization, hospitalization, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), residential treatment, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), or 24-hour mental health services.
To ensure that every client receives the safest and most appropriate level of care, we are generally not able to provide treatment for individuals who are experiencing active suicidal or homicidal thoughts, intent, or behaviors requiring immediate intervention; active psychosis, including hallucinations, delusions, or significant impairment in reality testing; acute manic episodes or severe psychiatric instability requiring intensive treatment or hospitalization; psychiatric conditions requiring frequent crisis intervention, intensive case management, or continuous monitoring; severe substance use disorders requiring medical detoxification or residential treatment; or any condition in which outpatient therapy is no longer clinically appropriate or cannot be provided safely through telehealth.
Acceptance into treatment does not guarantee that outpatient therapy will remain the most appropriate level of care. If your symptoms worsen or your clinical needs change at any time during treatment, we may determine that a higher level of care is necessary. In those situations, we will discuss our clinical recommendations with you and, whenever possible, assist with appropriate referrals and coordinate care with your primary care provider, psychiatrist, community mental health agency, hospital, or other treatment providers to help support continuity of care.
Participation in outpatient therapy requires that clients can engage safely in treatment, maintain reliable communication, and follow treatment recommendations. If these expectations cannot be met, or if a higher level of care becomes clinically necessary, we may be unable to continue providing outpatient services and will make reasonable efforts to refer you to more appropriate resources.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, are unable to keep yourself or others safe, or require immediate psychiatric intervention, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency department, contact your local community mental health center, or call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Accomplished Hope Counseling Services is not an emergency or crisis response service, and messages left outside of business hours may not be reviewed immediately.
